Burkina
Faso is among the five poorest countries in the world,
the so called fourth world. It relies on farming for
its livelihood, but ploughs and other tools are scarce.
Water is available, but a school for the training
of farmers is badly needed, to teach agricultural
techniques, how to build, repair and use a plough,
to manage the water resources and the potentials of
the soil.It is to face these necessities that Centro
Ghelawe was created, as the Italian arm of Centre
Guélawé, the Burkinabè association
which started the project. We are active in Italy
in collecting the money for building the school and
starting up its activities.
To do that
we need your help...
